E-Ink Display

Unread post by Daniel »

Recently I sold an EzSBC2 to some developers who wanted to make a controller for the ePaper displays from Pervasive Displays. These ePaper displays are fully reflective and consume no power when the display is not changing. For more information see repaper.org

Today a Kickstarter project launched to fund the production of a single board computer based on the EzSBC2 and the driver circuit for the ePaper displays. The board has the following hardware:
LPC1347 at 72MHz
Driver Circuit for an ePaper display
A 32Mbit serial Flash device
A uSD connector for removable storage
A USB connector for communication with and programming the CPU
An ISP button to activate the ROM-based bootloader
IO-connectors for interfacing to your circuit.
