ls1 current limits

what are the current lmits on the Ls1?

I am not exactly sure what you are asking for but I will try to answer anyway.

The LS1 has 4.7k pull-up resistors on the high and low side signals. This means that if you draw current from the pins when they are high the drop is directly proportional to the current drawn.

When either side is driven low, the FET between the high and low side is turned on and the current will be limited by what the side driving the signal low can sink. The FET has an on resistance of less than 10 Ohm and can withstand more than 100mA between low and h

in other words if i draw 4 ma on the 5 volt side i'll draw 4ma on the 3 volt side. if i'm right i should use some sort of buffer if i wish to draw more than 4 ma, any recommendations?
